NGC Supports Moruga Zonal Games 2010

On Friday February 26, the children of the Moruga Zone competed in the 2010 Primary School Games. The games were keenly competed by students of the seven schools which make up the Moruga Zone. Basse Terre RC emerged winner of the March Past while Holy Trinity AC amassed the most points to emerge winner of the Sports Meeting.

Results in the various age categories are as follows:

NGC has been sponsoring the Moruga Zonal Games since 2004. It is also noteworthy that these games take place without incident.

This week, March 1-5, 2010, the Games of the St Patrick Education District will take place – specifically on March 3, the Palo Seco Velodrome will be the venue for field events while the track events will be held on March 5 at the Mannie Ramjohn Stadium.

The games of the Caroni Education District will be held at the Ato Boldon Stadium on March 26.
