Appointment Of New President To The National Gas company Of Trinidad and Tobago | |||||
The Board of Directors of NGC
wishes to announce the appointment of Mr. S.
Andrew Mc Intosh to the post of President of the
Company. He will take up his appointment on
Monday 9 March, 2009. Mr. Mc Intosh has over 31 years of technical and leadership experience in the energy sector, thirteen of which have been at the Vice President level. He has worked in both upstream and downstream sectors, in national as well as multinational companies. Mr. Mc Intosh began his career in the energy industry in 1977 at the Trinidad and Tobago Oil Company Limited. In 1984, he joined Trinidad Marine Limited as Chief Engineer/Manager, Asset Integrity, Reliability and Maintenance and Capital projects Execution. In 1994, he was appointed Executive Manager of Energy Projects at Petrotrin with responsibility for the first major refinery expansion at Point-a-Pierre. |
In 2004, he joined Atlantic LNG Company and served as Vice President, Technical Services from 2004-2006 in charge of the completion of EPC works on Train 4. He was then appointed vice President, Operations in which post he successfully integrated Train 4 into the Atlantic LNG facility. Mr. Mc Intosh joined bpTT in October 2007 as Senior LNG Operations Advisor advising on all aspects of governance of Atlantic LNG's operations. He is also known throughout the industry as a great HSSE champion. In addition, the Board of Directors wishes to advise that with effect from March 9, 2009, outgoing President Frank Look Kin, who has served as the President of the Company for over twelve years will be available to the Company to assist in the transition of the new President. |
