Supervisor automation and measurement – SCADA

The Supervisor of Automation and Measurement maintains the SCADA network and equipment necessary to control the gas pipeline network.

  • A National Diploma in Instrumentation/Electronic Engineering.

Technician II Automation and Measurement

The Technician II Automation and Measurement inspects, calibrates and maintains all equipment used in the measurement and control along the gas transmission system.

  • A National Diploma in Instrumentation/Electronic Engineering.

Technician I Automation and Measurement

Technician I Automation and Measurement assists in the inspection, calibration and maintenance of all equipment used in the measurement and control along the gas transmission system.

  • A National Diploma in Instrumentation/Electronic Engineering OR certification in Journeyman Programme.

Project Engineer - SCADA Upgrade

The Project Engineer provides on-going technical services to the Company's SCADA upgrade and operations.

  • A BSc Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Registered Engineer with the Board of Engineering of Trinidad and Tobago.

Team Leader - SCADA

The Team Leader provides SCADA services in inspection and maintenance of all equipment in the measurement and control along the gas transmission system.

  • A National Diploma in Instrumentation/Electronic Engineering.

Head, Information Services

The Head of Information Services provides consultation to the Company and manages information services including technical information, records and document management.

  • A first degree in Information Science, Library Studies, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field.
  • An advanced degree and/or other related Information Science certifications would be an asset.

Information Management Officer (Library)

The Information Management Officer assists with the provision of timely and relevant information management services to the client.

  • A first degree in Information Science, Library Studies, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field.
  • An advanced degree and/or other related Information Science certifications would be an asset.

Information Management Assistant (Library)

The Information Management Assistant supports the provision of Business Intelligence and Information Management Support Services to achieve the Company’s strategic business objectives.

  • A first degree in Management, Information Systems or Library and Information Science.

Information Assistant (Imaging)

The Information Assistant captures, arranges, describes, tracks, preserves and manages the retention of relevant records on a day-to-day basis.

  • An Associate Degree/Diploma in Information Management/Computer Science.
  • A certificate in Records Management.
  • A technical certificate in Document Management and Imaging Administration in an Enterprise Content Management (ECM)/Enterprise Document & Records Management System (EDRMS) solution preferably TRIM Context.

Information Assistant (Library)

The Information Assistant maintains systems and provides services required to provide information management services to the Company.

  • A technical diploma in Information Management/Science.
  • Five (5) General Certificate Of Examination (GCE) Ordinary level or Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) General Proficiency Level Passes, including English and Mathematics.

Information Attendant (Library)

The Information Attendant assists with the operation and maintenance of the library.

  • Five (5) General Certificate Of Examination (GCE) Ordinary level or Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) General Proficiency Level Passes, including English and Mathematics.

Information Management Officer (Records)

The Information Management Officer provides professional and technical support for design, operation and maintenance of corporate electronic and print records and document management systems.

  • A first degree in Information Science, Library Studies, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field.
  • An advanced degree and/or other related Information Science certifications would be an asset.

Information Management Assistant (Documents)

The Information Management Assistant provides Information Management support services to the Information Centre in the realization of the department’s strategic business objectives.

  • A first degree in Management, Information Systems or Library and Information Science.

Information Assistant (Inactive Records)

The Inactive Records Information Assistant designs operates and maintains electronic and print record management systems to support the Company’s business objectives.

  • A technical diploma in Records or Information Management.
  • Five (5) General Certificate Of Examination (GCE) Ordinary level or Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) General Proficiency Level Passes, including English and Mathematics.

Information Assistant (Multimedia)

  • An Associate Degree/diploma in Information Management/Computer Science certificate in Records Management.

  • A technical certificate/diploma in Multimedia Designer or Media Production.
  • Administrator certification in an ECM/EDRMS solution preferably TRIM Context.

Information Assistant (Web)

The Information Assistant assists in the management of a specific subset/format of corporate records and its related information and operations.

  • An Associate Degree/diploma in Information Management/Computer Science certificate in Records Management.

  • A technical certificate/diploma managing Web Content or demonstrable web design and content management skills.

The Document Clerk provides document control and processing services as part of the corporate records management programme and assists with the operation of document management systems.

Records Clerk

The Records Clerk provides document control and processing services as part of the corporate records management programme and assists with the operation of document management systems.

  • Five (5) General Certificate of Examination (GCE) Ordinary level or Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) General Proficiency Level Passes, including English and Mathematics.

Head IT

The Head of IT supports business operations by designing and implementing new software applications and improving existing systems through oversight of the IT unit.

  • A first degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Computer and Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Advanced degree and/or other relevant ICT certifications will be an asset.

IT Technician

Our IT technician provides first-line incident management and service request support on a day-to-day basis through routine systems and network administration and management of the IT infrastructure.

  • A first degree in Computer Sciences, or Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Certification in MOUS, A+, MCSE/MCP, Oracle Tools/applications would be an asset.

IT Service Analyst

The IT service analyst facilitates optimal use of IT applications and systems through the installation and customization of software and vendor management.

  • A first degree in Computer Sciences, or Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Certification in MOUS, A+, MCSE/MCP, Oracle Tools/applications would be an asset.

IT Service Technician

The IT service technician responds to incident reports and provides service desk support to the IT user community throughout the Company.

  • A first degree in Computer Sciences, or Information Technology or equivalent.

IT Technical Analyst

The IT Technical Analyst manages the IT infrastructure and provides second technical support services through the development of policy, as well as contingency and recovery plans.

  • A first degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Certification in ITIL, MCSE/MCP, Linux, Check Point Firewall, Oracle DB Administration would be an asset.

Project Coordinator - Information Security Management Services (ISMS)

The Project Coordinator (ISMS) develops and implements an information security and privacy programme and ensures that ISMS project objectives are met.

  • A first degree in Computer Sciences, or Information Technology or related field.
  • Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC)
  • Security Leadership or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification would be an asset.

SAP Business Analyst

SAP Business Analyst facilitates the integration of SAP software (Enterprise Software) into business operations by providing analysis, recommendations and user support.

  • A first degree in Business Administration, or Computer Sciences, or Information Technology or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Supervisor Systems Planning and Development

The Supervisor Systems Planning and Development identifies, evaluates and develops information technology solutions to support the Company’s strategic direction.

  • A first degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology.

Supervisor - Client Services and Support

The Supervisor Client Services and Support participates in the recruitment process, ensuring compliance with existing policies, maintaining and improving IT service quality and optimizing infrastructure efficiency.

  • A first degree in Computer Sciences, or Information Technology or related field.
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification at the practitioner level would be an asset.

Supervisor - SAP Functional Support

The Supervisor SAP Functional Support oversees the integration of SAP software into business processes and the coordination of SAP related activities.

  • A first degree in Business Administration or Computer Sciences or Information Technology or equivalent.

Application Developer

The Application Developer designs and implements software applications to support business operations.

  • A first degree in Computer Sciences, or Information Technology or equivalent.

Technician I - Pipeline Services

To assist in the provision of services for the operation, repair and maintenance of pipelines and related facilities to ensure a reliable supply of Natural Gas.

  • Five (5) G.C.E. ‘O’ Level or C.X.C. General Proficiency subjects including Mathematics, English Language and a Science subject
  • National Technician’s Diploma preferably in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics & Electrical Engineering
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a related field

Technician I – Beachfield Operations

To ensure the safe and efficient collection, separation and transmission of Natural Gas supplies through the Company’s Beachfield Natural Gas processing facilities and the safe collection, accurate measurement and disposal/transfer of condensate and hydrocarbon liquids.

  • Five (5) GCE ‘O’ level or CXC General Proficiency subjects including Mathematics, English Language and Chemistry/Physics
  • A Diploma in Process Plant Operations, MEET, EEET, E&I, Mechanical or Industrial Instrumentation
  • Two (2) years’ experience in the offshore or gas and condensate processing operations or petrochemical plant or hydrocarbon operations

Technician I – Automation/ Measurement/SCADA

To assist in the inspection, calibration and maintenance of all equipment used in the measurement and control of Natural Gas and condensate along the gas transmission system.

  • A National Technician’s Diploma in Instrumentation/Electronic Engineering or a Certificate in Journeyman Programme
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar or job-related function

Corrosion Maintenance Technician I

The monitoring and maintenance of the corrosion control systems on the pipeline and related facilities.

  • Five (5) G.C.E. ‘O’ Level or C.X.C. General Proficiency subjects including Mathematics, English Language and a science subject and a National Technician’s Diploma Electrical/Electronics
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the corrosion maintenance field

Technician II – Pipeline Services

The provision of services for the operation, repair and maintenance of pipelines and related facilities to ensure a reliable supply of Natural Gas.

  • Five (5) G.C.E. ‘O’ Level or C.X.C. General Proficiency subjects including Mathematics, English Language and a Science subject; a National Technician’s Diploma preferably in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics and Electrical Engineering
  • A minimum of four (4) years’ experience in a related field

Technician II – Beachfield Operations

To ensure the safe and efficient collection, separation and transmission of Natural Gas supplies through the Company’s Beachfield Natural Gas processing facilities and the safe collection, accurate measurement and disposal/transfer of condensate and hydrocarbon liquids.

  • Five (5) GCE ‘O’ level or CXC General Proficiency Level subjects including Mathematics, English Language and Chemistry/Physics; a Diploma in Process Plant Operations, MEET, EEET, E&I, Mechanical or Industrial Instrumentation
  • A minimum of four (4) years’ experience in condensate processing operations, petrochemical plant operations, hydrocarbon refinery or slugcatcher operations

Technician II – Automation /Measurement/SCADA

To perform inspection, calibration and maintenance activities on all equipment used in the measurement and control of Natural Gas and condensate along the gas transmission system.

  • A National Technician’s Diploma in Instrumentation/Electronic Engineering
  • A minimum of four (4) years’ experience in a similar or job-related function

Control Operator I

To provide a balance on the domestic and CIP pipeline system by monitoring and controlling gas volumes and pressures from suppliers and consumers.

  • Five (5) GCE ‘O’ level or CXC General Proficiency Level subjects including Mathematics and English Language
  • A Diploma in Process Plant Operations or its equivalent
  • A minimum of one (1) year’s experience in a similar or job-related function

Control Operator II

To provide a balance on the domestic and CIP pipeline system by monitoring and controlling gas volumes and pressures from suppliers and consumers. To communicate with key personnel, internal and external in the event of an emergency.

  • Five (5) GCE ‘O’ level or CXC General Proficiency Level subjects including Mathematics and English Language
  • A Diploma in Process Plant Operations or its equivalent
  • A minimum of four (4) years’ experience in a similar or job-related function

Technician I – Measurement Analysis

The prompt and reliable collection of gas charts and the accurate and timely computation of gas and condensate quantities bought and sold by the Company.

  • Five (5) GCE ‘O’ level or CXC General Proficiency Level subjects including Mathematics
  • A National Technician’s Diploma
  • And a minimum of one (1) year’s experience in a similar or job-related function

Technician II – Measurement Analysis

The prompt and reliable collection of gas charts and the accurate and timely computation of gas and condensate quantities bought and sold by the Company.

  • Five (5) GCE ‘O’ level or CXC General Proficiency Level subjects including Mathematics
  • A National Technician’s Diploma
  • A minimum of four (4) years’ experience in a similar or job-related function

Project Engineer I & II

To assure the safety, integrity, timeliness and cost-effective implementation of engineering projects required for the effective operation and development of the gas collection, transmission and distribution network.

  • Project Engineer I – A First Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline and a minimum of two (2) years experience in the Engineering function.
  • Project Engineer II – A First Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline and a minimum of four (4) years experience in the Engineering function. Also required to seek Registration with the Board of Engineering of Trinidad & Tobago

Surveyor I & II

To ensure the effective and efficient provision of surveying services by internal and external surveyors, which satisfies the requirements of all areas within the Company and its subsidiaries that may require these services.

  • Surveyor I – A BSc. in Surveying and Land Information and a minimum of two (2) years working experience in the surveying field.
  • Surveyor II – A BSc. in Surveying and Land Information and a minimum of four (4) years working experience in the surveying field.

Computer Aided Design (CAD) Technician I & II

The provision of CAD drawings to support the engineering and construction activities and all areas of the Company and it subsidiaries that require CAD services.

  • CAD Technician I – Five (5) GCE ‘O’ level or CXC General Proficiency Level subjects including Mathematics and Technical Drawing; a National Technician’s Diploma in General Draughting and a minimum of two (2) years in the draughting field.
  • CAD Technician II – Five (5) GCE ‘O’ level or CXC General Proficiency Level subjects including Mathematics and Technical Drawing; a National Technician’s Diploma in General Draughting and a minimum of four (4) years in the draughting field.

Geospatial Information Services (GIS) Assistant I & II

To collect, analyse, migrate and perform QA/QC checks on NGC pipelines, facilities and asset management data using Geographic Information System (GIS) to support all areas in the Company that require geo-referenced information.

  • GIS Assistant I – A BSc in Surveying & Land Information; a Certificate in Geographic Information System (GIS) and a minimum of one (1) year working experience in a related field.
  • GIS Assistant II -– A BSc in Surveying & Land Information; an Advanced Diploma in Geographic Information System (GIS) and a minimum of three (3) years working experience in a related field.

Maintenance Technician I & II

To support the efficient and effective maintenance of equipment and their mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems, sub-systems and components on the offshore platforms, workshops and NGC’s land based installations (as directed by Line Supervisor).

  • Maintenance Technician I -– A National Technician’s Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Instrumentation Engineering and a minimum of one (1) year experience in mechanical, instrument, electrical repair and overhaul of gas compressor equipment.
  • Maintenance Technician II -– A National Technician’s Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Instrumentation Engineering and a minimum of three (3) years experience in mechanical, instrument, electrical repair and overhaul of gas compressor equipment.

Telecommunications Technician I & II

To support the efficient and effective maintenance of equipment utilized in Telecommunication systems, sub-systems and components at all NGC’s locations and installations.

  • A National Technician’s Diploma in Electronic/Communication Engineering or equivalent.
  • Telecommunications Technician I – A minimum of two (2) years experience in a similar job.
  • Telecommunications Technician II – A minimum of five (5) years experience in a related field.

Facilities Technician I & II

To provide technical and support services in the efficient and reliable functioning of platform equipment, through proper maintenance of an adequate supply of gas.

  • Five (5) G.C.E. ‘O’ Level or C.X.C. General Proficiency subjects including English Language, Mathematics & a Science subject
  • A National Technician’s Diploma in Process Plant Operations, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering Technician.
  • Facilities Technician I – A minimum of two (2) years experience in a related field.
  • Facilities Technician II – A minimum of four (4) years experience in a related field.

Engineering Technician

To implement predictive maintenance programmes and schedules for all offshore production machinery and ancillary equipment in accordance with predetermined techniques and standards.

  • A National Technician’s Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • Level I Certification in Vibration Analysis from a recognized certifying institution
  • Five (5) years experience working with engines and compressor analyzers and in conducting vibration analysis of rotating equipment in either an offshore environment or in the petrochemical industry

Data Technician/Records

To provide data management support services for maintenance computer applications.

  • Five (5) G.C.E. ‘O’ Level or C.X.C. General Proficiency subjects including Mathematics and English Language
  • Three (3) to five (5) years in a similar or related function

Electrical Technician I & II

To support the efficient and effective maintenance of equipment utilized in Electrical systems, sub-systems and components at all NGC’s locations and installations.

  • Electrical Technician I – A National Technician’s Diploma in the Electrical field and a minimum of two (2) years experience in a similar or related job.
  • Electrical Technician II – A National Technician’s Diploma in the Electrical field and a minimum of five (5) years experience in a similar or related job.

Air Condition Technician I & II

To support the efficient and effective maintenance of equipment utilized in Air-Condition and Refrigeration systems, sub-systems and components at all NGC’s locations and installations.

  • Air-Condition Technician I – A National Technician’s Diploma in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration and a minimum of two (2) years experience in a similar or related job.
  • Air-Condition Technician II – A National Technician’s Diploma in Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration and a minimum of five (5) years experience in a similar or related job.

Commercial Analyst

To provide documentation/information and other commercial supports services relating to the effective management of the Company’s gas sales/purchase contracts and agreements.

  • A first degree in Business Management or equivalent
  • A minimum of five (5) years relevant experience

Gas Management System (GMS) Technician

To process on a timely basis all nominations, allocations and imbalance information required for the management of gas transported through the fifty-six-inch pipeline.

  • Two (2) GCE ‘A’ Level subjects including Business Studies and/or a Science together with a Technician’s Diploma preferably in Mechanical Engineering Instrumentation or Process Plant Operations or an Accounting Technician’s Diploma
  • A minimum two (2) years relevant experience in the gas industry

Gas Measurement Analyst

The management of Cross Island Pipeline (CIP) Measurement systems in accordance with established procedures, codes and statutory regulations and in particular the Measurement Manual.

  • A first degree in Natural Sciences and at least four (4) years relevant experience in the gas measurement field

Market Analyst I

To increase Natural Gas sales in the light industrial, commercial and transportation sectors.

  • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Business or equivalent and a minimum of two (2) years in a related field

Project Officer I

To provide business, technical and commercial support services and analysis for the development of global energy businesses.

  • A first degree in Engineering or a related discipline, training and/or exposure to a Commercial discipline
  • A minimum of two (2) years post-graduate working experience.

Investment Analyst I

To provide commercial evaluation of contract negotiation support on commercialization of LNG projects and to perform LNG and related contractual obligations associated with NGC’s subsidiary companies, namely Trinidad and Tobago LNG Ltd. (TTLNG), NGC Trinidad and Tobago LNG Ltd, (NGC LNG), etc. and their contracting parties.

  • A first degree in Business, Economics, Management or Engineering
  • An appropriate post graduate degree would be an asset
  • A minimum of four (4) years post-graduate working experience in a related field with at least 2 years in the Energy sector

Legal Database Technician

To maintain the ROW land information systems and provide support and administrative services for lands and wayleave acquisitions, and land and claim management matters for construction projects.

  • Two (2) Advanced level subjects
  • A Diploma in Law and a minimum of five (5) years relevant experience

Lands Officer

The provision of support services with respect to land and wayleave acquisitions, title investigations, crop assessments and monitoring of Right of Way procedures.

  • A Certificate in Para legal Studies and a minimum of three (3) years relevant experience, preferably in the field of land acquisition matters.

Field Officer

The provision of support services with respect to wayleave acquisitions, land activities and field investigations.

  • Five (5) GCE ‘O’ Level or CXC General Proficiency subjects including English Language and Mathematics with a minimum of one (1) year experience in land matters
  • Or three (3) years relevant experience in other related fields

Tenders/Contracts Officer

The provision of administrative and support services with respect to the Tender process, development and maintenance of the Records System and the duties of the Legal functionaries of the Department.

  • A Certificate in Paralegal studies or Management
  • three (3) Advanced level subjects
  • three (3) years relevant experience

Tenders/Contract Assistant

The provision of administrative support services in the Company’s tenders/contracts processes, procedures and workflows.

  • Three (3) Advanced level subjects
  • A Paralegal Certificate or Paralegal training
  • one (1) year relevant experience

Insurance and Risk Management Technician

To maintain data and/or process claims and insurance renewals for selected insured assets and blanket insurance covers, including motor vehicles, computer equipment and marine cargo and to assist with the general administration of the Unit’s operations, to support compliance with related insurance and statutory regulations and the minimization of the Company’s risk exposure.

  • Five (5) G.C.E. ‘O’ Level or C.X.C. General Proficiency subjects including Mathematics and English Language
  • A Certificate in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute or equivalent
  • A minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in an insurance-related field.

Fleet Services Assistant

To provide general assistance in the provision of lease/rental and transportation services as needed, in compliance with related Safety standards and Company Procedures.

  • A minimum of five (5) GCE O’Level or CXC Proficiency level passes, including English Language and Mathematics
  • A National Craftman’s Certificate in Auto & Diesel Mechanic Repair Work
  • A minimum of three (3) years hands-on experience in the field of Auto Mechanics/Auto Mechanical Repairs

Fleet Services Coordinator Perquisite

To coordinate the maintenance and repairs of Company-owned vehicles to ensure the availability of a safe and reliable fleet services.

  • A minimum of five (5) GCE O’Level or CXC General Proficiency subjects, including Mathematics and English Language
  • A National Craftsman’s Certificate in Auto and Diesel Mechanic Repair Work
  • A minimum of five (5) years hands-on experience in the field of Auto Mechanics

Expediter, Customs & Trafficking

The timely receipt/importation and exportation of materials ordered by the Company through the coordination of governmental regulations and logistics services.

  • An Advanced Diploma in CIPS OR An Associate Degree in Business/Management or equivalent qualification
  • A minimum of five (5) years in Materials Management with at least three (3) years in the procurement environment
  • Customs Broker graded qualification would be an asset

Buyer

The acquisition of materials, equipment, spares and services required for the operations of the Company and/or subsidiaries in the most cost-effective manner in order to optimize benefit to the Company.

  • A first degree in Business Management
  • Or a related area or an Advanced Diploma in Purchasing or Materials Management or Business Management
  • A minimum of three (3) years experience in a Procurement environment in an Energy Sector Enterprise
  • Membership in a Professional Procurement Association would be an asset

Receptionist/Office Clerk

The provision of mail room services and receptionist duties which includes the receipt and relay/redirection of visitors and incoming telephone calls to support the delivery of efficient and effective office services to NGC.

  • Five (5) GCE O’Level or CXC General Proficiency subjects, including Mathematics and English Language
  • Telephone Operators Certificate
  • A minimum of one (1) year experience in a similar function

Security Assistant

To provide support services to the Security function at the Company.

  • Five (5) GCE O’Level or CXC General Proficiency subjects including English Language and Mathematics
  • A Diploma in Security Management or a Technician’s Diploma
  • A minimum of two (2) years in a similar or related field

Security Coordinator

To coordinate a range of services for the identification, avoidance/minimization of security risks, or threats in the protection of personnel, physical property and proprietary information.

  • A first degree in the Security Management or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least five (5) years progressive working experience in the Security Management field, inclusive of three (3) years at a supervisory level

Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Assistant

To assist in the delivery of efficient and effective Environment, Health and Safety services in keeping with related corporate and industry standards and practices.

  • Five (5) GCE O’Level or CXC General Proficiency subjects, including English Language, Mathematics and a Science subject
  • A recognized Diploma in Safety Management and a minimum of three (3) years experience in a similar or related field, preferably in the Energy Industry

Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator

The delivery of efficient and effective environmental/health/safety management services in keeping with related corporate and industry standards and practices.

  • A first degree in Environmental Sciences as well as a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Management

Corporate Secretariat Officer

The provision of efficient and effective Corporate Secretariat Services to NGC Board, Sub-Committee, Subsidiaries and Internal Committees.

  • A first degree in the Social Sciences/Business or a related field
  • A minimum of two (2) years in the Company Secretary/Business field

Accounting Technician

The performance of accounting and finance functions to facilitate the timely and accurate processing of transactions in the General Ledger to ensure timely and accurate financial management reporting; as well as payroll delivery, customer collections and supplier payments.

  • Completion of Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) Programme OR Level 1 ACCA or its equivalent
  • A minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in Accounting or Finance

Assistant Accountant

The timely and accurate input, retrieval and analysis of financial data to facilitate efficient accurate reporting, decision-making and efficient management in the achievement of the Division’s objectives.

  • Level II ACCA or equivalent qualifications in Accounting and/or Finance (Accounts Payables, Gas Accounting, Payroll, Financial Reporting, Project Accounting, Treasury Services, Financial Planning, Debt Administration, Auditing) inclusive of a minimum of eighteen (18) months supervisory experience.
  • A minimum of four (4) years in the Accounting field with experience in at least two (2) functional areas.
  • A minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in Accounting or Finance

Accountant

The management of Accounting or Finance or Treasury/Debt Administration functions to ensure the timely and accurate processing of transactions to achieve the business objectives of the Company and provide accurate reports in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Professional accounting qualification or University Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • At least six (6) years relevant experience
  • A minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in Accounting or Finance

Records Clerk

The filing, storage and retrieval of the accounting and financial documents and correspondence.

  • Five GCE O’Level or CXC General Proficiency subjects including Mathematics and English Language
  • Two (2) years relevant experience

Information Assistant – Records Management (Inactive Records)

To design operate and maintain electronic and print records and document management systems to support the Company’s business objectives.

  • A Technical Diploma in Records or Information Management
  • Five GCE O’Level or CXC General Proficiency subjects including Mathematics and English Language
  • A minimum of two (2) years experience in a related field.

Information Assistant – Records Management (Imaging)

To assist in the provision of information in the management of a specific subset/format of Corporate records and related information operations.

  • Five GCE O’Level or CXC General Proficiency subjects including Mathematics and English Language
  • An Associate Degree/Diploma in Information Management/Computer Science
  • Technical Certificate in Document Management and Imaging Administration in an ECM/EDRMS solution preferably TRIM context
  • A minimum of two (2) years experience in a related environment.
  • Supervisory training or experience would be an asset

Information Assistant – (Library)

To maintain systems and services required to provide Library/Information Management Services to the Company.

  • A Technical Diploma in Information Management/Science
  • Five GCE O’Level or CXC General Proficiency subjects including Mathematics and English Language
  • A minimum of three (3) years working experience in a related field in the energy industry

Information Management Officer – (Records)

To examine and evaluate records management systems to develop new or improve existing methods for efficient handling, protecting and disposing of business records and information.

  • A Technical Diploma in Information Management/Science
  • Five GCE O’Level or CXC General Proficiency subjects including Mathematics and English Language
  • A minimum of three (3) years working experience in a related field in the energy industry

Information Management Officer – (Library)

To identify and deliver timely, relevant, accurate and cost effective technical and business information as a basis for management decision making.

  • A first degree in Information Science, Library Studies, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field
  • Five (5) years exposure to all aspects of the function
  • An advanced degree and / or other related Information Science Certifications would be an asset

Application Developer

The design and implementation of software applications to support business operations.

  • A first degree in Computer Sciences, or Information Technology or equivalent
  • A minimum of three (3) years experience in an application system development environment

Information Technology (IT) Service Analyst

To provide service management, technical, maintenance and support services to support the business objectives of the assigned IT user community at any of the Company’s land based or offshore locations.

  • A first degree in Computer Sciences, or Information Technology or equivalent
  • At least three (3) years related experience in a medium- to large-scale Windows networked environment.
  • Certification in MOUS, A+, MCSE/MCP, Oracle Tools/Applications would be an asset

Information Technology (IT) Service Technician

To provide first-line incident management and service desk support to the IT user community at any of the Company’s land-based or offshore locations.

  • A first degree in Computer Sciences, or Information Technology or equivalent
  • A minimum of one (1) year experience performing similar duties
  • Certification in MOUS, A+, MCSE/MCP, Oracle Tools/Applications would be an asset

IT Operations Technician

To provide IT Administrative Services to the NGC IT environment on a day-to-day basis, by the provision of first-line incident management and service request support for the IT infrastructure in line with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs).

  • A first degree in Computer Sciences, or Information Technology or equivalent
  • A minimum of one (1) year experience performing similar duties
  • Certification in MOUS, A+, MCSE/MCP, Linux, Check Point Firewall, Oracle DB Administration would be an asset

IT Technical Analyst

To provide effective IT infrastructure management, problem management, change/release management and second-level technical support services.

  • A first degree in Computer Sciences, or Information Technology or equivalent
  • A minimum of one (3) years experience in a related field
  • Certification in MOUS, A+, MCSE/MCP, Linux, Check Point Firewall, Oracle DB Administration would be an asset

Human Resource Assistant I – Compensation (Administrative Assistant I)

The provision of administrative and general support services to facilitate the delivery of timely and efficient compensation services, including benefits, pension and savings plan administration.

  • Five GCE O’Level or CXC General Proficiency subjects including Mathematics and English Language
  • Intermediate typing (45 wpm)
  • Two (2) years relevant experience

Human Resource Assistant II – Human Resource Planning (Administrative Assistant II)

The provision of administrative and general support services to meet Human Resource Planning business needs within a team environment.

  • Five GCE O’Level or CXC General Proficiency subjects including Mathematics and English Language
  • Intermediate typing (50 wpm)
  • Four (4) years relevant experience

Benefits Administration Officer

The proper administration of practices and procedures related to the Company’s compensation and benefits.

  • A first degree in Business Management/Human Resource Management and
  • Two (2) to four (4) years experience

Manpower Planning Officer

The provision of integrated manpower planning and recruitment support services to the line in order to facilitate the achievement of strategic objectives.

  • A first degree in a related field
  • A minimum of five (5) years in a human resource management environment

Training Officer

The provision of training and development support services to the line in order to facilitate the achievement of strategic objectives through employees.

  • A first degree in Human Resource Development, Human Resource Management, Management Studies, Social Sciences or other related field
  • A minimum of four (4) to six (6) years in a human resource development environment

Industrial Relations Officer

To provide a range of industrial relations services associated with the development of an industrial relations environment which facilitates the achievement of the Corporate objectives of the Company.

  • A first degree in a related field
  • A minimum of five (5) years in a human resource management environment

Public Relations Assistant I – Reputation and Branding

To support the Company’s reputation and brand building strategies and to meet the Department’s business needs through the production and dissemination of Corporate information to all publics of Trinidad and Tobago within a team environment.

  • A first degree in Communications/Public Relations, Social Sciences
  • No experience required

Public Relations Officer I

The development and implementation of strategies for promoting and enhancing the Company’s relationship with the internal and external public.

  • Either a first Degree in Public Relations/Communications or Journalism
  • Or a first Degree preferably in Social Sciences or Humanities and Training in Public Relations/Communications/Journalism
  • A minimum of three (3) years in Public Relations field
  • Web or Digital communications work-related experience would be an asset

Community Relations Officer I

The maintenance of good relations with residents and organizations in NGC’s host communities and the planning, development and social responsibility programmes/projects at the local, regional and national levels.

  • A BSc in Social Sciences
  • At least three (3) years experience in community and/or social work

Public Information Assistant I

To support the Company’s relationship and reputation-building strategies through the provision of public information services by promoting Natural Gas literacy among all publics of Trinidad and Tobago and by building and maintaining good relations with all NGC publics.

  • A first degree in Communications/Public Relations, Social Sciences or a related field
  • No work experience required.

Construction Inspector I

To assist in the execution of the quality assurance programme for construction projects by identifying, reporting and rectifying quality and safety issues/problems and to provide inspection services which assures that construction work is conducted in accordance with specifications, as per standard construction practice as specified by the Company.

  • A National Technician’s Diploma in Mechanical or Construction Engineering Technology or an equivalent combination
  • A minimum of three (3) years in a similar field inclusive of two (2) years of on-site construction experience

Construction Engineer I

To assure the safety, integrity, timeliness and cost-effective implementation of engineering projects required for the effective operation and development of the gas collection, transmission and distribution network.

  • A first degree in a relevant Engineering Discipline
  • A minimum of four (4) years related experience in the Construction Engineering field

Audit Assistant

To provide required support in the evaluation function in determining the adequacy and effectiveness of the Internal Control system and to assist with system implementation.

  • Level 1 ACCA or equivalent professional qualifications
  • A minimum of one (1) year experience in the Auditing function

Auditor

To conduct independent assessments of NGC Group’s management and internal control systems, governance processes and risk management.

To improve the integrity, efficiency and effectiveness of NGC Group’s operations through the recommendation of cost effective solutions through identification of deficiencies and non-conformities.

  • A first degree in either Business Management/Computer Science/Engineering/Finance, Accounting/Auditing/Law or a related field from an accredited college
  • OR a Graduate degree in either Business Management/Public Administration or a related field
  • OR certification in CIA, CQA, CPA, or CISA which may substitute for one year of required experience
  • The combination of a graduate degree and a certification may substitute for two years of required experience
  • A minimum of four (4) years experience in a related field, with at least two (2) years in an auditing or related function such as accounting, finance, inspection, quality control, investigation and organizational assessments.
