Presenter Biography
Richard Jobity is a Business Analyst with the National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago, where he is responsible for analysing external competitive Intelligence for assessing strategic enterprise risk. He has written and published papers on the energy industry, petroleum taxation, trade, and technology issues. Prior to joining the NGC, Mr. Jobity spent eleven years at the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago, where he specialized in energy and energy related industry issues, including commodities monitoring, forecasting and policy analysis. He has also received training in enterprise risk, competitive intelligence, and derivatives. Mr. Jobity received a B.Sc. (Hons) Economics from the University of the West Indies in 1990.
