The National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (NGC) is proud to support a Music Literacy Programme in which three promising steelbands are enrolled – Gonzales Sheikers Steel Orchestra which started on the road to music literacy in June, NGC Couva Joylanders and NGC La Brea Nightingales which followed in August. Since the company also sponsors police youth clubs in Couva and La Brea, and supports community interaction and cohesiveness, members of the youth clubs were also invited to enrol.
